Following is the transcript of a media session given by the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, after his visit to the Tsuen Wan District this (June 27) afternoon: (English portion)

Reporter: Are you concerned about the labour dispute between Cathay pilots and its management?

Mr Tung: I think it is almost every couple of years Cathay pilots will have a dispute with the company. I think such dispute is not good for Hong Kong's economy and not good for our tourism industry. I have also noticed Cathay Pacific's pilots are one of the highest paid in the world. I hope very much that the pilots and the company can get along with a negotiation. I particularly hope that the pilots will be pursuing the objective of trying to reach agreement with the company. I hope very much the overall interest of Hong Kong is being looked after. Thank you.
